He graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, in the United States. Joey has had a lifetime of chiropractic care having been adjusted since he was a child. His interest in chiropractic care has never stopped growing since then.

Joey Thieme has worked in Edinburgh for over 20 years and has owned Chiropractic Health in Bruntsfield/Morningside for over 7 years. He also has a practice in Bathgate, West Lothian, formerly known as Bathgate Family Chiropractic. He’s still treating patients at both locations and has built up a loyal following of patients who he has helped to live pain-free lives.

Joey Thieme uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patients’ lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Our chiropractor takes a whole person approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, therefore we will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalised chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient’s individual needs.

Jude was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. She came to the UK to study chiropractic at the AECC in Bournemouth, graduating with a MSc in Chiropractic in 1998. During that time, she also trained in dry-needling and acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain relief. After working for two years in Ireland she moved to Edinburgh in 2001 and worked at the Wight Chiropractic Clinic. She spent a year and a half travelling and doing locum work before taking over the Chiropractic Health clinic at Holy Corner in 2005m, where she worked until expecting her second daughter in 2012. She sold the business to Joey and moved to Australia to spend time raising her young daughters. During this time she studied neurodevelopmental delay and behavioural disorders in childhood.

She returned to Chiropractic Health in 2022. She uses various chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Derefield Thomson Drop technique, Activator and SOT and pilates based rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in womens health and lifestyle medicine. She lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two teenage daughters.

Alice graduated as a chiropractor in 2023 from Health Sciences University (AECC) in Bournemouth. Following her graduation, she returned home to the Isle of Wight, where she began working at a large multidisciplinary clinic.

Alice chose chiropractic as a career with the goal of helping people of all ages. Her journey into chiropractic began at the age of six, when she and her family started receiving chiropractic care. The positive impact it had on her throughout her childhood and teenage years inspired her to pursue a career in chiropractic. Alice is particularly passionate about working with children, helping them grow and develop, and sharing the benefits chiropractic care brought to her life.

Alice is dedicated to listening carefully and understanding everyone's individual needs, to create a personalised care plan tailored specifically to them. She focuses on addressing the root cause of the issue, not just the symptoms.

In her spare time, Alice loves spending time outdoors and is excited to explore running routes and hiking trails in Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland. When she's not out exploring, she enjoys yoga and sewing, creating everything from clothes to cushions!
