Babies and Children

At Chiropractic Health, we provide safe and effective chiropractic care for the entire family, including babies and children. Increasingly, families are seeking complementary approaches to support their children’s overall wellbeing.

Alice, who has personally benefited from chiropractic care since childhood, is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and has completed postgraduate training in paediatric chiropractic. She regularly updates her knowledge to ensure safe, gentle, and evidence-informed treatment.

The techniques used for babies and children differ significantly from those applied to adults. Paediatric adjustments involve exceptionally light pressure—comparable to checking the ripeness of a piece of fruit—and may resemble gentle massage when observed. There is no ‘clicking’ or ‘popping’ involved with paediatric adjustments.

Access to the clinic is step-free and pram friendly. We aim to make each visit a positive experience for children, offering toys and a welcoming environment. During treatment, we use a specially designed cushion to ensure your baby’s comfort and safety.

What to expect during your visit?

At your initial appointment, you will complete a patient information form followed by a detailed discussion to better understand your concerns. Alice will take time to build rapport with your child before conducting a gentle assessment. She will then explain her findings and collaborate with you to develop a personalised care plan. This includes recommendations on treatment frequency, goals, and strategies to support your child’s progress at home.
