Pregnancy

During pregnancy the body goes through a remarkable change in a relatively short space of time.

Changes such as softening of ligaments, changes to posture can often add pressure onto various areas of the body, including the pelvis and spine. Chiropractic care is safe to access whilst pregnant.

Gentle chiropractic care may help to support the pressure on the spine and pelvis. Alice has undertaken additional training to ensure her treatment is safe and effective. We have tailor-made equipment to ensure you are comfortable throughout your care. The pregnancy-pillow allows you to safely lay on your front with no pressure on your bump.

What to expect?

During your first visit to Chiropractic Health, we will ask you to complete a patient information form. We will then spend time discussing your concerns. A gentle assessment helps us to review your issue to understand if chiropractic is appropriate. We will discuss your findings and collaboratively create a plan of management.
